I've been at it for 30 years. On Friday 9th December 1977, The Haircuts first took to the stage - and within minutes there was a full blown riot. The outcome is recorded on the 'Aylesbury Goes Flaccid' album. The riot meant that a number of us had to appear as witnesses at Reading Crown Court - a member of the audience had been hit over the head by a microphone stand and was rushed to hospital. We were all teenagers - and in retropsect it must have been a horrendously frightening thing to be a part of, but the boldness of youth held us all in good stead.
Do YOU remember Longwick?
